Easi-Wesi Rail
In a sleepy little valley, three children are aided in their quest to avoid busywork by two somewhat responsible adults, who send them off on the simple but time-consuming task of cleaning all the solar panels feeding power to their village.

This one needs a bunch of editing, more than most of the other stuff here. Some of that’s because bits were written wildly out of order, but some is probably because it’s in a loose third-person style following our ensemble cast, and I’m having some trouble with that.
Rather than go back and try to fix things as I write, I’m planning to finish it, then do an edit of the whole damn thing to get rid of problems, remove inconsistent bits, and generally try to make it look like I knew what I was doing the whole time.
Which I didn’t.
Not even a little.
I’m also trying a thing which has been recommended for mental health & concentration, which is to write by hand.
Turns out that;
- My handwriting is pretty bad, so no surprises there, but I do enjoy writing the more flowing letters
- Typing this up takes a while, even if I resist the urge to fix it up a bit as I do so
- I usually don’t resist that urge
- I’m a slow typist
